Teaching is my passion and Real Estate is my topic.  The following classes are currently offered. 

SRES Designation – Senior Real Estate Specialist.  This is a National Association of Realtors’ sponsored class.  Teaching agents some of the relevant points to helping Baby Boomers and Seniors with their Real Estate needs.  This is a 2 day course.

GREEN Designation.  This 2 day class is a NAR sponsored class.  As the country moves toward improving the efficiency of our houses and communities, this class addresses the basics of how to improve sustainability in our times.

GREEN Elective Residential Course.  The GREEN Designation requires a one day elective course.  This class focuses on Restidential Real Estate.

Accredited Buyers Representative.  The ABR Designation helps agents learn more about helping buyers get the best house and protect everyone legally. This is a 2 day class.

Effective Negotiating for Real Estate Professionals.  This one day class helps agents aquire negotiating skills that will help them and their clients successfully manuver through the extensive set of negotiations that are involved in a house sale.  Women’s Council of Realtors sponsors this course.  It is an elective for the ABR and PMN Designations.

Generation Buy. At any given time, today’s real estate professionals may be working with four generations of real estate buyers: Millennials, Generation X, the Baby Boomers, and Matures. This one-day course examines the home buying characteristics of these generations and evaluates their expectations (of agents and of the transaction) as well as communication preferences. As a turnkey resource, participants receive generation-specific marketing tools, networking tips, scripts, and counseling strategies to help formalize agency relationships. 

Real Estate Marketing Reboot.  One of the reasons why licensees fail or only achieve modest success is their inability to focus on the consumer’s needs and to market their services accordingly. In the past, marketing courses have dealt with marketing the seller’s property as opposed to marketing to the buyer. Structured to inspire novel marketing approaches to create a personal “brand” this course encourages students to look everywhere for differentiating marketing opportunities that grab the attention of buyers.

e-PRO.  The evolution of e-PRO® was developed through a partnership of The National Association of REALTORS®(NAR) and the Social Media Marketing Institute (SMMI) to familiarize today’s agents with the latest technology and social media tools to enhance their business and help them engage with customers and other real estate professionals. e-PRO® will now be available in 2 parts (Day 1 and Day 2). Day 1 will be available in a live classroom setting or online. Day 2 will be available in an online format in early 2011.

RESPA Really Matters. RESPA Section 8 is about the kickbacks and business relationships REALTORS need to be aware of .  This 4 hour class will help any group of agents better understand this sometimes misunderstood law.  TREEF (Tennessee Real Estate Education Foundation) sponsors this class. 

Basics for Building a Better Business.  Being a Real Estate agent is owning your own small business.  Are you treating it as such.  This class goes over where the income and business come from, budgets and professional standards for agents.  4 hours.  This class could be lengthened to provide a more interactive workshop environment.

House Valuation for REALTORS. As the market shifts, pricing a house can become more of a challenge.  Everyone wants to be sure they are getting a good value or a good price.  Many things can play into coming to  a good understanding of what price is “Just Right!” This can be a 2 or 3 hour class.

2009 – 2010 TREC Core Course for the state of Tennessee. 4 hours

Buyer Consultation.  2 hour class for new or recharging agents on consulting and househunting with buyer clients.
